Westfield Stratford City opening date

The mall is based next to the London Olympics site, which is due to open in 2012.

Tuesday 13th September 2011

11:35am: Singer Nicole Scherzinger will officially launch Westfield Stratford City with a performance. It’s a ticketed event. See the link below to find out how to apply.

12.00 noon: Anthony Daniels, droid C-3PO in the Star Wars films, will be officially opening the new hmv Westfield Stratford store. He’ll meet fans in Star Wars fancy dress and sign copies of the new Blu Ray release ‘Star Wars: The Complete Saga’. Additionally there will be free goodie bags to celebrate the opening for a limited time during the event.

Due to limited time available, entry will be strictly limited to fans in Star Wars fancy dress. Fans can pick up free wristbands at hmv which allow them access to the event. Only x60 wristbands will be available from the hmv Westfield Stratford store from 10.00am on Tuesday 13th September onwards. One wristband per customer maximum, in person only, while stocks last, subject to availability, at participating store only

17th September

6pm: The Look catwalk show. See Sarah Harding on the catwalk and Dionne Bromfield perform live etc. It’s a ticketed event. See the link below to find out how to apply.

Shopping at Westfield Stratford

Westfield Stratford City will contain around 300 shops, bars and restaurants. Big stores at the mall include: John Lewis department store, Marks & Spencer, Waitrose and an all-digital Vue cinema.

Other shops and stores at Westfield Stratford City will include: Primark (6,224 sq m), Next (3,752 sq m), Forever 21 (6,109 sq m), Topshop (3,348 sq m), H&M (3,008 sq m), Monsoon (961 sq m), River Island (1,452 sq m), WH Smiths (646 sq m), Boots (2,210 sq m) and Esprit (984 sq m).
