Free parking at Westfield Stratford
The only parking deal that we are aware of at Westfield Stratford shopping centre is the “2 hours free parking offer”. When the mall opened in September 2012 it offered 2 hours free parking until October 31st 2011. This offer has now been extended until 31st March 2012.
If you know of any Westfield Stratford parking offers, please let us know in the comments below. Thank you.
Car parking for the disabled
The Westfield Stratford City car parks have disabled access. There are designated parking bays for Blue Badge holders.
Update: We spoke to the concierge at Westfield Stratford in January 2012. They told us that “Westfield Stratford does not offer free parking to Blue Badge holders”.
There is “digitally innovative car parking” and a concierge service.
The cark parks are on the roof-top and underneath the mall.

I tried to find the complete poust code but I did not succeed the only thing you give is the beginning and how can I get there as I do not have the entire address
I would like to know if there will be free parking spaces at Westfield Stratford City, especially if one can prove to be a resident. Please reply. Thank you in advance.
As in Lakeside and Brent Cross I believe they are still free to park a car. If they want us to shop and it will take time to walk around parking should be free.
Hi Miss Azzopardi, we’ve not heard of free parking for residents at the mall.
It looks like the council have set up Residential Parking Zones instead, that are supposed to protect residents from being inconvenienced by the many people wanting to park their cars in the streets around the centre.
See newham.gov.uk/RPZ for more info.
blue water will keep our business why pay to park to spend money in shops at westfield
I was planning to take a friend to see the shopping centre and looked for a map to plan my parking, as we are both wheelchair users. Unfortunately I can’t find anything to indicate where I can park within easy distance of the shops that we want to see. Also although the parking arrangements make mention of the Blue Badge Scheme, I don’t know if we are exempt from the charges. It all becomes a bit stressful, as we are reliant on the car to get us there, public transport unfortunately not being an option. Is there a map available?

Never mind the Shoppers being ripped off for parking what about the staff that have to rotor 24hr and still have to pay
Cannot find where the entrance of parking is! Looked for “From the East via Alma St Bridge enter E15 1QA” but google street view leads no where!
Hi Ramen, the car park is not on Google Maps yet. But when you visit the shopping centre, the car park is clearly signposted. Best wishes.
Is there something like a monthly ticket for parking i am going to be working there and i used to get this in ilford exchange where i paid £34.00 a month that was so much better then £10.00 a day, you cant surely expect staff to pay up to £16.00 a day!
Hi Emma, you’d have to contact your employers and the mall directly to find out that info. The mall contact details are above. Thanks for visiting MSUK.
I need to know the cost of parking for disabled card holders BEFORE decide to arrange a visit as I am coming from Holland.
Thank you D.Lawson
Hi Dorothy, you can contact the mall directly by email: ukwscreception@westfield-uk.com
i saw a poster on the bus stop saying that there is free parking offer available until the 31st october.
i have looked on the website, but i cannot find any offers ont there, except the 2 hours free one.
how long does the introductory last for?
Hi Jan. Until 31st October, say the posters.
They really should have a better deal for parking especially for the staff. The car parks were empty yesterday and it was generally more quiet. Why waste all that space
Hi JP – is there a special deal for staff? Do you get a discount?
I have used the parking services at Stratford Westfield on many occassions but i still find it difficult to find the posted signs. I think they need to be bold and user friendly.
On top of that the exits are very difficult to navigate, i always getting lost all the time, even my bofriend says the same thing. There should be a better way by putting a colour line on the pavement to indicate that you are exiting.
In addition, the 2nd week of mall opening i was stranded on my way out with lots of drivers not knowing how to use the coin token! If they have not paid the parking after 2 hrs ofcourse the barriers will not work. But no one seems to know where the machine to pay especially if u are new to the place. Why can’t they colour code the coin as well according to the zone you parked in?
Lastly, i have not seen any welcoming sign at the entrance on Warton road? This area is supposely world class and not to forget a Thank you sign for visiting the Straford City. POSTED SIGNS like these will make a big difference to a lot of people. Please do add on some trees and plants too in the vicinity. Thank you.
Parking at Bluewater Shopping Centre is free. Why then would I pay to park & visit Westfield? Charging motorists to shop makes no commercial sense at all. The 2 hour free period needs to be extended to 4 if you actually wish to encourage people to support this venture.
parking at bluewater is free because the shops are rubbish! charging for parking at westfield must make some commercial sense as the car parks and the shops are full!
We were shopping on staturday 17/12/11. We understand it offers 2 hours free parking. We didn’t record the entering time, but we knew it was around 2 hours. When we exit the car park , the exit barrier opened while the screen still showing “please wait…”. I was worry if thats because we exceeded the 2 hours limit. if we haven’t pay the correct parking charge , is there any way we can know if we should pay and how to pay afterwards.
Hi ,
Can you please provide some info regarding motorbike parking ..
Does this parking contain separate motorbike bays and is it free to park there ?
Regards
I visited the Westfield stratford yesterday with my family on 2.01.12. We came at about 2pm and left about 20.30. The carpark cost £10. is that correct???
Thanks
Can you answer the original question here. Are there any concessions or fee reduction for Blue Badge holders as in the cars parks there is no obvious information and both my visits have cost me £4 in parking fees for being there just over 3 hours.
The link and info posted here says nothing other than visiting the Motability shop and hiring a scooter.
It mentions something about getting up to 4 hours parking free if you present your blue badge and ID. Not sure how you can do this and still park in a designated bay as the Blue Badge should be displayed there.
It seems that there is a definite desire to be non helpful to Blue Badge holders at Westfield.
I will not be revisiting as the cost is prohibitive and I advise other Blue Badge holders who may be inclined to visit now the crowds are dissipating to sprint ( as if we can) around the multi layers of shops within the multi layerered expanse of a mall.
Hi John,
we agree with you. Westfield Stratford have not released a lot of information about Blue Badge parking at the centre… it could be that they’re updating their pricing structure. That’s why we recommend that you contact the centre directly. By phone, if possible. Try: 0208 221 7300.
We’ve not heard of Westfield Stratford offering “up to 4 hours parking free if you present your blue badge and ID.”
However, Westfield London (in West London) do offer this. See their website here: http://uk.westfield.com/london/getting-there/car-park-rates/

am working in a shop unit due open soon, i entered car park at 7.50am, i left at 9.23 to go to a builders merchant. i put chip in machine and £4.00 showed up. i pressed help button and explained i have been in car park for only 1hr 33mins, he said it was an error and to leave chip on top of machine and the machine will issue another chip, THIS time for £2.00, i pressed help button again and was told as i entered car park before 8.00am it was classed as an overnight stay and had to pay £2.00. i find this as an absolute PISS TAKE, it is not the first time the robbing bastards have tried to con me,( they have tried to charge me £16.00 on 3 occasions when my stay was under 7 hours, which is only £8.00. …….When you put your chip in machine please check in display panel how long you have parked otherwise you will be CONNED… you have been warned.
i also was charged £4 for under 2 hours stay from 07.43 to 09.23 in december and phoned their office , i was promised a refund . still waiting .
Is there any parking charges if i park under 2 hours?
when will we know new charges
Hi Bill, charges are staying the same, as far as we know. However, “2 hours free” has been extended until 31 March 2012. Thanks for visiting MSUK.
I came to Westfields almost 10 days ago ,i stayed a few hours and the got a parking charge of 8 pounds which i expected but my point is that parking to shop should be free. why should we have to pay to spend our money .We drove from Clayhall in Essex,so for us its just as easy to get to lakeside shopping centre where the parking is FREE for as long as you like, and lakeside has almost the same shops there as westfield. Its probably cheaper in Fuel to drive to lakeside park for free rather than paying to park at Westfield ,this is one of the major concerns i have when going shopping , wether the parking is free for shoppers and if its not i rarher shop else where ,where the shopping centres have the courtesy to offer free parking. This is in my opinion one the major factors why shopping centres are empty is that the parking is not free.
Hi
Is the night parking still going for £2? Can I park in any car park?
you can not just give me the address????
Can you please give a full address????
Hi Kris and Tim, the full address is here: https://mallsecrets.co.uk/westfield-stratford-city-postcode-address-contact-location/
Thanks for visiting MSUK
will we still be able to use the shopping centre car park when the games start next mth.
All the car parks are now closed until the end of the games in September. They are allowing blue badge holders to use the car parks still until mid July apparently.
All car parks open again.
Still 2 hrs free for everyone.
Max daily charge is now £5.
Hi Dave, is the daily charge now £5 forever or is that a limited offer? Will it still be £5 in November? x
What happened to the evening charges, where you had to pay £2, between 18:00pm to 7:50am?
Hi
On Sunday 10th December I paid £2 car park fee but you charged me 3 x £2??? its on my bank statement!
Can i have a refund of £4 please?
Regards
I think Westfield is a good thing for the area but unfortunately there is no more free parking. There is no drop off point so I used to drive in, drop off and drive out, approximately two minutes. This will now cost £2.50 to drop the wife off.
Tariff: Monday – Sunday
0-2 hours: £2.50
I started work in westfield 2 days ago, i’ll be working 6 days a week. Over three hrs parking is £9, that means i’ll end up paying over £50 a week on parking?! Is there no staff discount ?
